Please note: I have recently relocated the Midtown Detroit, MI, but am still officiating weddings! My rates for weddings are competitive, and I am currently performing ceremonies at free and reduced rates for those who have been affected by COVID-19 in Southeastern MI.
Usually, clients find me because they are interested in an affordable, secular, and personal option for officiant services. I provide an alternative to traditional religious ceremonies and impersonal civil ceremonies, where the entire wedding is based around YOU!
Before I moved to Detroit, I traveled to Asheville, NC, Eastern Tennessee, and every stretch of the Blue Ridge Parkway for ceremonies with as few as 4 people in some, and over 100 in others. Smaller elopements are my favorite type of service, and I have performed several mountaintop hiking ceremonies, and even a horseback wedding.
In Michigan, I am available to travel to any destination of your choice. I look forward to consulting with you about your big day!
“Olivia was able to make our dream come true by marrying us on top of a mountain! Super easy going and works with your schedule. Provided a scanned copy of the marriage paperwork the next day. Highly recommended!” – Deniz, 2019
While I do charge a reasonable rate for travel to destinations more than 30 miles away from my home, I charge a flat rate of $200 for officiant services. This includes consultation, a personally written ceremony customized to your needs and ideas, and processing of the marriage license.
“Olivia is amazing! I truly do not hesitate to recommend her! She is extremely professional while also being so real with you. If you want to feel like a friend is marrying you, she is your person! She is so easy to work with and is very receptive of your ideas. She does amazing work for a fair price! Thank you for making our big day great!” – Tiffany, 2019
If you are a Michigan resident, be sure to pick up your marriage license within 33 days of your wedding date, and remember that there is a 3-day waiting period and a $20 application fee to the court! After the ceremony, we will sign the license, and it will be mailed to your county Clerk’s Office for official filing. If you are from a different state, that’s okay too! Just contact the local County Clerk in your Michigan wedding location to apply for your marriage license and learn the guidelines and deadlines for filing. As a celebrant, I can perform weddings anywhere in the United States.
